The Twelfth Grade Citizenship Award seeks to inspire students to become active citizens.
The award recognizes a Costa Mesa twelfth grader who presents the best response to the theme, and who demonstrates the qualities of active participation in civic or community activities, good scholarship, and school involvement.
The Theme: The 2008 Presidential Election - what motivates young voters and why don't they vote?
Get creative! Any creative communication media is allowed.
The selected student will be presented with a framed certificate recognizing his or her achievements and a $500 tuition scholarship.
