Dear Friends:

 I truly appreciate the confidence and support shown through thousands of phone calls to donors, donations, placement of signs, walking by volunteers, and in conversations door to door throughout Costa Mesa.

Tonight, we go to bed knowing that our resident volunteers from a cross section of the community called more than 3000 voters in the last 2 days, and walked, talked, and dropped campaign literature to as many if not more households.

We received donations from more than 200 donors. Mostly from residents and under $100.

Despite the hate mail that piled up against us, we ran a clean positive campaign and tried to focus on our ideas to make Costa Mesa a great place for families:

  • Return to reasonable public safety staffing to protect our neighborhoods & businesses;
  • Balanced and smart development that considers concerns about traffic and parking impacts;
  • Improvements to & protection of our parks & open spaces;
  • Promotion of Costa Mesa as the City of the Arts and a destination for visual & performing arts, dining, and retail tourism.

Read my positive vision for Costa Mesa’s future here.

During the campaign, I got to know a long-time community volunteer and all around good and decent guy, JAY HUMPHREY, who I am also supporting for City Council because he cares about our community.

Please join your neighbors tomorrow and VOTE. Join our campaign to restore the best of Costa Mesa.

Please share on your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumbler, etc… This election turns on who votes.  PLEASE VOTE.

Until tomorrow…

Katrina Foley
