Special Note from Mayor/Attorney Katrina Foley:  As we read these stories it reminds of so many women we consult with who chose not to pursue claims or who are too afraid to complain to their employers. Too afraid of the humiliation, damage to their careers, and hurt or disappointment to their families. As Ashley Judd says, “This is the moment.” Speak up. Object. Complain. Don’t let fear control. And if you are an employer or supervisor or co-worker— please say or do something. It’s your duty under the law in California.
